Changing Tomorrow Children’s Foundation Our Mission: To provide abandoned and orphaned children the opportunity to grow up in loving, Christian foster homes, where they can receive nourishing food, comfortable seasonal clothing, medical care, age appropriate pre-school preparation and the in-school supportive training they need to become the leaders that will change tomorrow.

he goal of the Changing Tomorrow Children’s Foundation is to rescue HIV/AIDS orphans off the streets in Phuthaditjhaba, Qwaqwa, a rural area of South Africa where the AIDS epidemic is at its worst. Wim Jansen van Rensburg, HH Jansen van Rensburg the directors of the foundation, have been working for years to help street children.  Their mission is to rehabilitate these children and provide them with opportunities to become contributing members of society. Changing Tomorrow Children’s Foundation a registered non-profit organization in the USA, and is also registered in South Africa as a closed corporation without intent to profit Because of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, there are an estimated 2000 orphans/street children in Qwaqwa, living together in shacks without adult supervision.  In some cases there are as many as 15 children, aged 1 – 20 sharing one house.  This is fostering illiteracy and criminal behaviour. Another effect AIDS has on the community is that it has left thousands of terminally ill people in homes with no one to care for them.  There are no medical facilities or clinics available to these people.  Those who are well are so busy taking care of the sick, that they are prevented from working or going to school themselves. We intend to develop a housing/community project for purposes of rehabilitation the children, by providing a safe family environment, education, and health care facilities.  Our intention is that it will become a self-sustainable project, by creating projects that generate employment opportunities and other sources of income. It is our intention to create businesses and teach business skills to make the people self-sufficient. With good financial planning, the involvement of the community, training and sound leadership, this project has potential to be a PILOT PROJECT for many other similar projects in other parts of Africa Changing Tomorrow Children's Foundation, Mission trips, Africa, South Africa, children, orphans, Christian, Internship, intern, missions, changing tomorrow,
